Freshman and Transfer Admission

Upper Division Review Requirements

To be reviewed for admission to the Landscape Architecture Upper Division (professional level landscape architecture courses) students must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Completion of 56 credits
  • Completion of LA Indicator Courses: LA200, LA220, LA240, ISS310 (specific section required)
  • Completion of Other Indicator Courses: HRT211, HRT212, CSS210, MTH116 (or its equivalent, or first higher number MTH), a Tier-One writing course (WRA 110-195H).
  • A maximum of 24 students are admitted to the Upper Division at the end of each Spring semester. Admission to the Upper Division is based on weighted grade point average calculated on the following formula:
    • Overall Grade Point Average (GPA) 40%
    • LA Indicator Courses GPA 40%
    • Other Indicator Courses GPA 20%
