SPDC offers its students a full-time academic advising office with a staff that knows the majors and professions.  They are well trained in assisting students in planning course schedules and determining academic and career goals. Active involvement with an advisor is essential to the students' academic success.  The advisor helps assure that students stay on-track with courses and other activities so that the college experience is as effective and fulfilling as possible.

• If you need to see an advisor, please use this link to Sign up for an appointment, log-in using your MSU NetID, then choose your major from the given list. (If you are not an MSU student, you need to schedule an appointment by email)

• Appointments are put online each Monday morning for the following week only.

• If the system does not show any available appointments, the advisor is booked for the week.  Please do not email your advisor, instead check the system for cancellations.

• Full-time academic advising is available in Fall and Spring semesters. Summer semester, advisors are available only on a very limited basis.
