The design challenge is to create a two-and-a-half acre park on a half-acre densely urban site in Atlanta, Georgia. The park must support recreation amenities and activities for all age groups (infants through seniors), facilitate active recreation (strength enhancement, health maintenance, aerobic exercise, physical skills development) and passive recreation (contemplation, enjoyment of nature, people watching, general socialization).
