Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for Design Professionals

Michigan State University offers an introduction to CAD and Technology through a certificate program for design professionals. Participants will learn to use CAD as a design tool to create design intent and presentation drawings. This task-based approach teaches more than just the commands - learn the principles and strategies for quickly completing drawings. Topics include: 2D and 3D, creation of a prototype template, printing, inserting 3D blocks and drawing and enhancing the plan view of an existing space. Access to an email account, the Internet, and instructors available for 15 weeks.
